~Cozy, Colorful, Comfort~

Hamaguri Room SocksHamaguri Room Socks have an embroidery pattern of triangles around the sock opening resembling the clam called the Cherrystone. 'Hamaguri' is Japanese for 'Cherrystone'. This is how they came to be called 'Hamaguri Room Socks.' Since 1955, Naigai has continued to satisfy their customers by making Hamaguri socks with consistent, high quality materials and expert craftsmanship.

Why Hamaguri Room Socks?

1. Each one is handmade by craftsmen

The embroidery pattern of triangles along the sock opening is done by a special sewing machine called “Hamaguri sewing machine,” which the craftsman embroiders one by one thoroughly. After embroidering with the sewing machine, the craftsman finishes the elegant pattern by hand knitting the rest.

2. Comfortable inner pile fabric

Hamaguri socks have longer loops of pile fabric yarn than normal socks. This provides more comfort and warmth than any traditional sock. The pile fabric also contains 40% wool, keeping your feet comfortable the instant you put them on.

From generation to generation, the cozy and colorful handcrafted room socks have been loved for over 60 years in Japan! Now Hamaguri Room Socks are available in the US with many types of styles.

Choose ones to match with your lifestyle. Collect and enjoy many different colors and designs! Wear them barefoot or with socks and relax. Once you put them on you'll wonder how you ever lived without them!
